- Project data — Product name, description, and details you provide
- Usage data — Basic analytics to improve the service

We use your information to:
- Generate your personalized launch kit
- Process payments through Polar
- Send important updates about your account
- Improve ShipLaunch based on usage patterns
We never sell your personal information to third parties or use it for advertising.
BYOK Security
Your API keys never touch our servers.
ShipLaunch uses a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model for AI-powered features:
- API key stored only on your device (browser local storage)
- API calls made directly from your browser to OpenAI
- We cannot see, access, or store your API key
- Delete anytime using the "Forget key" button
Data Storage & Retention
Your project data is stored securely in our database (Supabase) and retained until you choose to delete it.
- Delete individual projects at any time
- Request complete account deletion
- Export your data before deletion
We retain payment records as required by law for accounting purposes.
